Once again we have the honor of giving testimony to how faithful our Lord is to us in so many tangible and significant ways. One of these is how He has brought new and very capable leadership to the ministry at just the right time. WGO has enjoyed the great privilege and blessing of our executive management team, made of up myself, Steve Razor and Robert Butts, working side by side in the trenches together over a period of many years. Then, in October of last year Steve announced his retirement from WGO and in June of this year Robert needed to return to the U.S. to minister to his own family in a time of significant health challenges in his family. Both of these men have been great co-laborers in Christ with me and are dear friends and we all cherish our years serving together. In the early moments of processing through these two changes there could have been concern. However, the Lord’s quick provision for new leadership to fill these areas of responsibility has been both encouraging and a solid reminder that He is in control and already had a provision in mind even before the need was known. The most recent of these provisions has been the arrival of our newest member of our senior operations management team, Tony Dunaway. Tony is now serving as our Chief Financial Officer and comes with an impressive blend of accounting education, experience and passion for ministry. Tony has a degree in accounting and is a CPA. His experience includes serving as a CFO with several different ministries over the years. Additionally, he has served as a foreign missionary and lived abroad for four years. Please join us in welcoming him to WGO and praise the Lord with us for His special provision. Tony rounds out the senior operations management team that includes myself, Otniel Zavala and Kelly Tucker. Kelly is the Field Director for WGO Belize and Otniel is the Field Director for WGO Honduras. Both of these men have responsibility for all ministry operations in their respective countries.

Ecclesiastes 4:12 says:

“And if one can overpower him who is alone,
two can resist him.

A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart."
Only the Lord could make His provision in such a specific and powerful way and
set the stage for WGO’s future growth and leadership and provide what is now
a cord of four strands. God is good.
