WGO’s START TO 2023 HAS BEEN AWESOME
Family and friends of WGO, thank you for checking out what is going on in Ministry. We have started out with a bang in Belize and Honduras. We have hosted a Business Development team that has poured into local Christian businesses and given classes on how to be more successful in their respective work. The teams get to visit fun places while they are there such as the Xunantunich, Mayan Ruins. We partner with local outreach opportunities to share the word of God, share a meal at a food bank that WGO helped to establish, prayer walk the streets, and even make a walkway for people to get to church.
Honduras started out today and saw around 300 people, treated kid’s hair for lice, provided a much needed prescription of medicine, gave 4 families clean water that will last for 10 years, and most importantly, shared Christ with everyone that came through the medical outreach. Each of these people that passed through the clinic will have their name taken down and a member of the church will follow up with them to help cultivate the relationship with them and the church.
We partner with local communities and churches in Belize and Honduras through our teams. The more teams we have coming, the more opportunities we have to connect and serve. We want to fill our calendars with construction projects, evangelism and VBS days, water filter distribution, medical outreach, and general encouragement to the locals. We even partner with an abused men and women’s shelter in Belize and that could look like a game of basketball, to lifting them up, or doing a project with them.
